KevinPM.com contacting YOU

Kevin Rudd from his web site -
"I'll be using the site to speak frankly with you about the big challenges facing Australia; the global economy, education, climate change, and the health of Australians, but just as importantly it will enable me to hear your ideas for the direction of the nation."

They say they want to listen, but how?

We have a tool that allows you to do it very simply, no typing, just the "worm" that you saw on the TV during the debates. You could make your voice heard as a group instead of being lost in the noise of e-mails and comments, "have a focused voice".

All it takes is just over a minute of your time moving the "vote tool" and two simple questions at the end and you get to see the "worm result".

Watch the video below and let your voice be heard.

US presidents-to-be, debate how to fix the economy

The U.S. presidential debates are revealing the candidates ability and preparedness to lead their country into uncertain waters.
Record your feelings using the voting tool as you listen to them sell themselves.

Obama presents his 4 point strategy

It seems John McCain's reply is short of any detail. That makes it hard to consider his position.
Watch McCain waste half his time talking to us rather than explaining how he is going to control the situation.

iPOWOW! examples from the iPOWOW! team

Each of the following examples has been written to illicit a particular response. Each thought provoking piece has been written with a common purpose: to obtain an indication from the viewer as  to what extent they are moved by the issues being presented. Each example comes from a unique perspective. Each example serves to illustrate one of the myriad possibilities in which iPOWOW! can be utilised.

Example 1

Should they get paid at all?

This iPOWOW! is an example of a “did you know?”styled scenario . A simple question can stimulate the viewer to think about an issue from a new perspective. The metrics will reveal the level of disenchantment or acceptance towards our elected representatives

Example 2

Drunken idiots!

This iPOWOW! offers an example of a reaction to government proposal. The creator of this clip has personal experience motivating his opinion. The sharing of this credible information allows the viewer an opportunity to reveal how they feel about the initiatives being suggested. The voting metrics generated could be useful for lobbying the government to change their mind.

Example 3

Single Mum=dole bludger ?

In this iPOWOW!, an issue that all too often receives negative press, receives a poignant treatment by a concerned friend . The context provides an opportunity to illicit a reaction by telling the other side of a story, the less sensational and perhaps more sensitive side. The metrics will reveal to what level the community is empathetic or indifferent.

Example 4

Can one man save the planet?

this iPOWOW! demonstrates how sharing your own approach to a problem may inspire others. The metrics will tell if we all think the same or we don’t really care at all

Example 5

Let them eat cake!

In this iPOWOW! a passionate delivery whilst not being too in your face, can make even the most ridiculous idea seem plausible. The metrics will let this creator know if he should be the next treasurer or stay preaching on the street corner.

Example 6

Koala's extinct by 2012! :

This iPOWOW! employs a simple call to action with a little insight . The metrics will reveal the levels of general apathy or a public consciousness with a desire to help.

Example 7

Wasting public time and money?

This iPOWOW! is an example of taking a story from the mainstream media, putting it into context and then asking the viewer to decide how much they value one commodity over another. Although humorous in its delivery it is nonetheless a serious subject worth considering. The voting metrics will reveal the extent to which the people value their tax money being well spent as opposed to having clean footpaths.

Example 8

Lock up your daughters!

is an example of how a very sensitive issue requires a little explanation to create a context for objective consideration. The highly charged emotional topic of convicted paedophiles being returned into the community is handled in a rational calm informative manner. with this kind of deliver the viewer can be challenged rather than manipulated. The voting metrics will reveal the extent to which this issue polarises a community.

Example 9

Would you let Gary glitter move in next door?

This iPOWOW! is a more to the point example of how a cut down and more succinct treatment of the original subject matter can deliver a more direct appeal. The voting metrics will indicate whether the lessing of context shifts the bias?

Example 10

Too many people!

This iPOWOW! is an example of a rational argument underpinned by strong facts and figures supporting a radical solution to a global problem. The voting metrics will represent how much the viewers feel this is too radical or too conservative.
